Every member of our team is hand selected for their compassion and ability to go above and beyond for our clients. They have the skills to provide a timely diagnosis and first-class veterinary treatment.

Senior Veterinary Surgeon

May MRCVS

May joined the team in March 2023. She decided to move back to the UK with her family after working as a vet in Hong Kong for around 10 years. She has particular interests in soft tissue surgery. May has also completed a certificate in acupuncture.

Outside of work May enjoys scuba diving, hiking and spending time with her cat and dog.

Julia

Julia is our new Veterinary Surgeon at West Wickham Veterinary Surgery.
Before Julia joined the team, she worked as an emergency and critical care surgeon back home in Perth, Australia and in the USA.
You will find Julia here at West Wickham on Thursdays and Fridays.

Practice Manager

Alison

Alison qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 1997. She has had a varied career working for charity hospitals, emergency clinics and most recently as the Head Nurse for a referral centre in Surrey.
She joined DNA Vetcare as an Area Manager in 2022, looking after our Corner, Croydon, Mitcham & Wimbledon branches.

Outside of work she is a mum of two daughters, and is kept busy helping her husband to run a girls football team. She also has a houseful of rescue pets, that she fostered and who never left.

Head Veterinary Nurse

Deanna RVN

Deanna Joined the Croydon team in June 2022 and was made Head Veterinary Nurse in November 2022. Before joining us Deanna worked as an out of hours emergency nurse, while completing her Emergency and critical care certificate with VetsNow, making her very experienced with critical and medical nursing cases.

Outside of work Deanna is an avid runner who has taken on the challenge and completed two full marathons and multiple half marathons in aid of charities which are close to her heart.

Leanne

Prior to joining West Wickham Veterinary Surgery, Leanne worked as a qualified dog groomer for the last 15 years.

Outside of work Leanne enjoys aerial acrobatics, such as trapeze.
Plus she is kept busy looking after her 3 cats, Bentley her Labrador and Aries her Shetland pony.
